The World Wide Web.....

I spend a lot of my time online because..I get on facebook a lot so i can check up on how my friends are doing that i haven't talked to in a while or ones that i just seen but would like to talk to more. Then there are those times were i get online to get on espn.com to check up on the latest sport stories and scores and make sure the Yankees are still playing good. I know i could look on tv and find the scores but i find it a lot easier to find what team and scores you are looking for because you dont have to wait for the little scroll bar on the tv to change to the sport you like. When on the internet you can just click on the link to the sport you want to look at and ZAP!! your there. Another reason i get on the internet a lot is for school. I seems like sometime during the school day im on the internet either doing something productive like school work such as writing a 970+ word essay about smoking or just goofing around on there such as playing game or watching funny videos on youtube, but either way im on a lot during school. Well wether being on at school or at home i enjoy being on the World Wide Web. Its only just a click away

What childhood lesson has always stuck with you?

A childhood lesson has that has always stuck with me is never give up. Even though you hear this saying throughout your life there was one time during life when this lesson had made a big impact in my life. In 8th grade I was a chubby little kid and it was my first year playing soccer for apollo. I made it through that preseason and season but man was I exhausted and I did not think i could play another season and do that again. We won only won game that season, so I was not very happy about that and I wasn't really having fun anymore. So when our coach came to my middle school and called anyone who wanted to play soccer the following year to the office to get some information about it....I didnt go. I did this because I thought I didn't want to play anymore and to want to go through the conditioning again and lose almost every game again. But a week after the soccer meeting I "personaly was called up to the office. I didn't know who it could be or for what reason, but when I got to the front there I saw my coach and one of the guidence teachers. They asked why I didnt want to play anymore and they told me that you can only do this once in your life. They said if i gave up now there was no way I could get back into it, they said I shouldn't give up and keep working hard and it will all pay off in the end. I started to tear up, I was a cry baby back then, but I said ok and I said I guess i could give it another try. So here I am now a senior still playing soccer and having a great time doing it. We have a great chance to win district and even region as long as we never give up!
