96 dodge ram pickup = trash

Since i recived my licence i now am most likely going to have to drive my dads truck. He has a black 96 dodge ram pickup. The word the describes this piece of scrap metal is trash. there are many things that are wrong with this truck.

  •  the exterior paint job is bad
  • there are a ton of scratches on it, theres even a scratch that looks like a feather
  • the front bumper has a HUGE dent in it.
  • the tinting on he windows are peeling off
  • the roof fabric is coming of the roof
  • the speakers are busted
  • the radio was broken until recently fixed
  • the gas gauage doesnt work
  • the check engine light is constantly on
  • the brakes sqeek like nails on a chalk board
  • the steering wheel shakes when you are driving it
  • there is dog hair in it
  • there is the awful stinch in there that makes me want to puke everytime im in there
I really hope i don't have to drive this demon car anymore than i have to, and hopefully i can buy my own car soon.

I PASSED

Last Tuesday i passed my drivers test to get my intermediate license. all morning before the test i was extremely nerves about taking this test so my mom took me out of school right at the beginning of 3rd period to practice some and i believed it helped....... As we approached the man that was going to be the instructor for my test i thought to my self " this is it, its all or nothing, leave it all in the car, be the car, its win or go home". After i gave him all my paperwork and listened to his corny jokes about my last name and that i lived on 81 which really made no since but i went with it because i wanted to pass. As i started to drive i thought to myself this isn't so bad at it was a breeze the rest of the way. I messed up twice during the test once because i went a little to far past the stop sign until i stopped, which was fine with me my bad, BUT!!!! the second one got to me!!!!! my second flaw was that when i pulled up to the car i had to parallel park behind i remembered what my DRIVERS ED TEACHER SAID TO ME " pull as close to the car as you can without hitting it" so i did that and when i finished my successful park the instructor said " good but you were to close to the car when you pulled up to it" I couldn't believe what i just heard, it was probably worse that the time my parents let me know there wasn't a Santa Clause, it was that bad.

When i pulled up to the finish he let me know again what i did wrong and he also let be know i passed with flying colors ( other than the 2 i missed ) i was so happy so i drove to school and went to English class and told people about my test!

My Job

For the past month i have been employed at a store named Legends ( which is a soccer store that also prints for team shirts and we travel for soccer tournaments for you people that didn't know what it was). Legends is located on Washington Ave., its beside the big Independence Bank, and by Old Hickory BBQ. Its a nice job i get there about 3:30 every week day ( I don't work on the weekends unless its for a tournament) and i get off at 6. I think those hours are good for a first job if i say so myself. Heres a typical day for me at Legends. I arrive at legends at about 3:30 maybe a little later, then i go to the bathroom and change into my work clothes. After that i say hey to everyone one and i go into the back room AKA where all the work gets done. There i ask my boss what do you need me to do which is usually one of the following

put names and numbers on shirts
sort shirts into style, color, and size.
pull shirts off the press and put them on the dryer
keep things straight around the work area.
or clean screens ( not fun ).

After i finish one of those ask i go to another and keep doing that until around 5:50 where then i turn off all the heat presses and lock the garage door turn off the light and clock out at 6:00.....then go home

Well there you have the work life of a lefty

THIS BLOG IS DEDICATED TO CONNOR "THE MOOCHER" HUNDLEY WHO DOESNT HAVE A JOB AND HAS HIS PARENTS PAY FOR EVERYTHING!!!

thank you for your time and have a great day in the left lane

10 ways to say no without using the word no

• You can’t do that.
• You go ahead. Let me know how it goes.
• I need some alone time right now.
• I’m not interested.
• Let me check my calendar.
• Been there, done that.
• It’s not a priority for me.
• My spouse wouldn’t approve.
• I don’t want to hold you up so feel free to ask someone else.
• My mother taught me not to say yes to everything.

Thanksgiving

My traditional family meal is an amazing one. To start with the meat we have turkey (but whose family doesn’t) but we also have ham because some of the family likes some nice warm smoked ham. Next we have another pretty traditional food for more than one family stuffing with the option of gravy. Then we usually have corn, mash potatoes, and green bean (nothing to fancy) Next we have the greatest part of the entre the casseroles!!! We have broccoli, hash brown, and the best of them all SWEET POTATO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This casserole destroys all others in the taste. If you ever have a chance to eat it you should it will melt in your mouth. Then to finish of the entre we have warm rolls topped with butter. Now for desert we usually have pie pumpkin and pecan they are amazing especially when they are topped with whipped cream. Well that finishes off my traditional family meal so come on over next Thursday and enjoy some Sweet Potato Casserole with me and my family!!

Earth

It’s pretty amazing to see all the continents on earth at night and seeing how lit up some continents are compared to others. When you compare the United States to Africa there is a huge difference Africa is a lot larger than the United States but there is like 5 times more light at night in the U.S. than in Africa. I really liked how the PowerPoint pinpointed the exact spots where the lights were brighter on Brazil and the United States. I was really amazed when it showed a sand storm going cross the ocean and it changing from night to day in Africa. Earth is an amazing place and we really need to keep it that way.
